About Us
  • How do I know it's time for my elderly loved one to make a move?
Generally, it is safe to say that when they are no longer safe in their enviroment as evidenced by increased incidents of accidents, minor or major, then it it is time to consider move.
  • Who will I meet at the initial in-home consultation?
This varies but in most cases, the owner and/or a licensed social worker.
  • Does your in-home care agency conduct background checks on your caregiver employees?
All ReFresh HomeCare caregivers are required to complete a thorough background check. We make certain all caregivers are insured and properly screened in order for your loved one to be fully protected.
  • What is the difference between Medicare and Medicaid?
In simple terms, Medicare is medical insurance provided by the government for the elderly or disabled to cover or help cover the cost of doctor's visits, medical procedures and stays (both hospital and rehabilitation), therapy prescription medication. Medicare eligibility is based on age and disability. Medicaid is state funded assistance for housing for those needing care. Medicaid eligibility is based upon low income, little to no assests and need for care.
